Hikuri Roshgadol is a hybrid chameleon inspired by the Mexican tradition of  making Alebrijes.

To shape its face and body I was inspired by a veiled chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus).

Its feet are from a blue-footed booby (Sula nebouxii), its arms from a red eyes frog (Agalychnis callidryas) and its tail from a aligator-lizard (Cordylus cataphractus).

Data:

Davit Nava, Hikuri Roshgadol, 2014, iron structure, post-use plastic bags, used clothing with white glue, acrylic on clay and cloth, crystal beads, 15.7 x 5.5 x 5.9 in / 40 x 14 x 15 cm
