Intermon Oxfam is a Spanish NGO focused on fair trade and poverty erradication.

2000–2007
Fundación Jucataco, Mexico
Fundación Jucataco is the transformation of a project I started when I was 12 years old into a formal NGO. I was motivated by the alarming depletion of sea turtles along the Mexican Pacific Coast. During the 7 years we worked with the project, we made it possible for more than 21,000 hatchlings to safely reach the sea.
The success of this idea made it the flagship environmental program of my school. This model was later replicated across schools, thus spreading environmental awareness to a whole generation of more than 5,000 young students across the city of Cuernavaca. As the co-founder, I was the responsible for leading our staff, creating campaigns, donor inquiries and communications with policymakers.
